Shouldnt "shear stresses σ12 and σ23 (if the thickness is the 3-direction)" actually be "shear stresses σ13 and σ23 (if the thickness is the 3-direction)" ???
The same problem appears in the plane strain sister article.
Plain Strain definition is wrong[edit]
Under the section "Plane strain (strain matrix)":
"in which the non-zero \varepsilon_{33}" should be
