Strong in Malacologia, 2017, 61(1–2): 1–526.) (can be dowloaded at Researchgate.net), substituting the previous classification of 2005 Taxonomy of the Gastropoda (Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005). The waves of contractions do WHAT???[edit]

I don't know this species or its biology, so I may be misunderstanding the phrasing, but if so, it needs rephrasing, and if not, it need a lot of elaboration and clarification. The text at the time I write this reads: "The waves of contractions on the surface of the foot are longitudinal, passing from side to side". All the other gastropoda that I know have transverse ranks of longitudinal contractions passing from back to front, end to end in other words, not side to side, which is intrinsic to the animals' mode of locomotion. If that is what is meant for this species, please rephrase and explain that this is uniform with other gastropoda. OTOH, if the wording and sense are indeed as intended, then both a citation and explanation are needed. I grant that the required wording is tricky in any case, and am willing to help.
