I have removed a sentence:

  • questioning the legitimacy of the endorsement (no source cited; as Chair of the organization in question, I reasonably expect to be aware of any official contestation over the endorsement results, and have not heard of any such thing)
  • claiming that only 12 people had participated in the endorsement process (again, no source cited, and no factual source could claim this - we still have the credentialing sheets. There were three endorsement meetings, at which there were, respectively, 34, 73, and 29 people signed in and voting. The elections discussed on this page were only considered at the first of these meetings. There was a later round of endorsements that was passed by twelve members (over 50%) of the executive committee, and ratified the following night by a regular meeting of the central committee, but that set of endorsements, too, did not touch on these races.)

Made some changes regarding Leslie Roberts/Charles Henderson race[edit]

I made no changes to the Youlee You history portion, which presents the best set of facts proffered by Leslie Roberts; however, I revised the discussion regarding Charles Henderson so as to bring it in line with the facts reported by the media and his own website. Instead of writing his campaign off as, essentially, a Youlee You proxy, it behooves someone providing an information resource to the public to actually base their discussion on the facts...

new edit - enough is enough[edit]

I reverted edits which appear to have been made by both supporters of Henderson and supporters of Roberts. "point of view" and "original reporting" are both explicitly prohibited from Wikipedia entries. I replaced it with (1) a BRIEF summary of the events that led to who is - and isn't - listed on the ballot, (2) a list of articles in the media, including articles favorable toward BOTH candidates, and (3) simple lists of endorsements. Any future edits should be made only with the intent of increasing the neutrality, or the factual accuracy, of the article. remember, this is one race among many.

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Columbus, Ohio mayoral election, 2015 which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 08:18, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
