SPECIFIC ALLOYS

[edit]

I added the real data for one specific type of pot metal. Anybody know how to convert the units to SI?

First, I just removed the whole thing on the specific alloy (ZAMAK 3), because this really isn't the place to list that info. All of that info is available on the ZAMAK article. Second, if you did add real numbers, nobody knows because you didn't add a reference. I would have reverted the change because it would have looked like vandalism. Third, please be civil; calling units "retarded" is only going to cause problems. Wizard191 (talk) 16:13, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need a reference to convert units, you need a calculator. I didn't add the original data, I just ocnverted it from backwards medieval units to modern ones. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oblivioid (talkcontribs) 18:32, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is this Wikipedia, Uncyclopedia or urban dictionary? When did this place become a blog? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.102.241.86 (talk) 16:49, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Content copyright?

[edit]

Either this site http://www.potmetal.info/ has stolen all the words from the Wiki page or the reverse has occurred as all of the words here are found on that site in somewhat different sentence order with a copyright notice. Is it a fake site? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mike1942f (talkcontribs) 17:32, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm 95% sure that they ripped off this article, because the web archive doesn't have anything for the site, so that means its was published in the last 6 months. This article is far older than that, therefore you can be pretty sure that site plagiarized Wikipedia. Wizard191 (talk) 17:38, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
