Hi.

I just created this as a stub, because (a) it's a topic of interest to me; (b) Ken Leistner is listed as a notable strength training writer (there was a bit of debate about this a while back, and the article made the cut); (c) both the editor and editor-in-chief already have Wikipedia articles about them; (d) the powerlifting article is quite long (and popular); (e) the powerlifting article is alread illustrated with a cover scan of this magazine, which speaks to the importance of the magazine within the sport; (f) Milo, Hardgainer, and other niche strength training magazines have pages that have survived deletion discussions.

I also note that the stubs for those other magazines (which, I think, I created back in the day) have - over time - been fleshed out into decent small articles.

In short: my plea is (a) this magazine is noteworthy enough within it's niche; (b) give it time to grow!

Thanks, Tjic 19:50, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

The existing Mike Lambert article is about a volleyball player, and the Andy Kerr article is about a Scottish politician. I disambiguated the links so they no longer point to these people - they clearly aren't the ones affiliated with Powerlifting USA. Dsreyn 12:35, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
