[edit]

This page on pre-diabetes has been thoroughly researched and written. Before undertaking this project, I searched Wikipedia for a previous article on pre-diabetes. None was found under that title.

After writing, editing, and cleaning up the article, I came to find that another Wikipedia article titled "Prediabetes" already existed. This other article is very well written, and contains information which complements but does not duplicate that given in my article. For that reason, the best approach will probably be to merge the two articles at some point in the future.

Since I am not entirely certain how the merging process occurs, I will leave this task to others.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I am going to comment here only on the naming of the article. I agree that the proper heading should be Pre-diabetes as has been listed here. Both ADA and WHO use the terminology Pre-diabetes when referring to states that are high risk to progress to diabetes.

I have simply redirected this page to Prediabetes without attempting to add any of the info here to that article. This is because this article does not cite its sources, at least not in a verifiable way using in-line refs. However, the information is still available in the history of the page at [1], in case anyone wants to see what was there and add it to Prediabetes. —Angr 15:22, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
