Disputed
[edit]The content of this article does not reflect the musicological consensus about authorship in general and the authorship of this specific work. If a speculative opinion is at variance with the Bach editors, it should be presented within that context. Works of J.S Bach are often evaluated for questions of authorship, but they should be made with reference to the scholarly consensus within a formal section. In addition, the analysis section is missing citations or supportive evidence. Quaternaria (talk) 19:03, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Quaternaria: WP:SOFIXIT. I mean, you seem to know exactly what's wrong with the article, so I don't see anyone around more suited to fix it than you. --Francis Schonken (talk) 20:40, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
Typo of Bach
[edit]If you look at the 3rd bar of the 6th line, you will note the bass key E flat while all surrounding bars have a D. In his "BACH BUCH" (1927), Waldemar Woehl quotes Fritz Jödes who supposes that this is a typo and should also be D instead. The autograph, however, looks very deliberate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.8.20.155 (talk) 10:00, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
