Merge proposal

The recent publication of the book, Quantitative Trading: How to Build Your Own Algorithmic Trading Business (Wiley, 2009), by Ernest P. Chan [1], helps to establish the term algorithmic trading as a specific domain of practice within the field of quantitative investing. Persons qualified as quantitative analysts [2] may or may not be traders and may or may not use algorithmic trading techniques exclusively. Hence, quantitative investing is the more encompassing term for both and (in my opinion) should be kept. Wilgor (talk) 16:30, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
