Redirected to Rhythm and blues[edit]

I've redirected this to rhythm and blues. The thousands of "R&B" links need to be fixed before this page is turned into a disambiguation page. Extraordinary Machine 14:43, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Either merge Rhythm and blues with Contemporary R&B...[edit]

Or redirect "R&B" to "contemporary R&B". That is what R&B means nowadays most of the time. It makes stupid sense to redirect it to it's historical once-upon-a-time ancestor. Doing that is like redirecting "Rock" to "Rock 'n Roll". --Loginnigol (talk) 10:20, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:COMMONNAME. There are decades worth of books that refer to "historical once-upon-a-time" rhythm and blues as R&B. How many books refer to contemporary R&B simply as R&B?
This page should either be left "as is" or changed into a disambiguation page. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 17:51, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
