Race Queen origins

Does anyone know the origin and history of the Race Queen, such as where and when it began? -- Gerkinstock 18:22, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

No citations?

I've just cleaned up some pronunciation here and noticed there is no citations for any of the facts presented. I have no background in this topic so unfortunately I can't do this myself. Shaybear♥ 01:59, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Incomplete sentence

This edit has resulted in an incomplete sentence. The edit seems a bit dodgy in part – it gives the impression that the editor's intention was to remove a porn-related aspect that he wasn't comfortable with. It doesn't seem plausible to me that there was something factually wrong with the sentences before and the edit was simply a correction; it smacks of a POV edit with an ultimately ideological motivation. But I don't know enough about the subject to really challenge it. Perhaps it was really done in good faith at least. Still, I remain suspicious; there is no justification given by the editor why he thought that the association of race queens with the porn industry deserved to be removed. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 22:38, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
