[edit]'Will India become superpower-?'
Will India become a super power, this is the question which not only has confused the Indians but Americans and Europeans too are confused about this question. Few scholars think that India will become a super power in few more years and there are also some scholars who think that the level of corruption will ruins the growth of the country in the near future. Now the question arises why people believe that India will become a super power one day? Is it of its GDP rate or the number of families shifting from lower middle class to upper middle class or because of its increasing FDI? Each and every factor is contributing to the growth of India but it doesn’t mean that it will become super power, to become a super power it is very important for any nation to be internally strong and as far as the case of India is concerned still we are not internally strong enough to take the crown of a super power by this I mean India’s political structure is not stable and this can be evident from the early elections and apart from government issues, India’s infrastructure like road, public transport or transport facility is not at par with the countries like China.
Now as per the various economic scholars around the world India has the potential to become super power but there are certain obstacles which could be evident from current examples, which are listed below-
• The recent 2G scam of 176000 million which is the largest scam after the Independence due to which its gap growth slumps from 9 % to 7 %.
• Instability in the decision of political parties regarding FDI in retail.
• Lack of proper education system due to which 30 million people between age group of 30-50 are still unemployed.
• Lack of proper relation with the neighboring countries like China, Pakistan, Bangladesh.
Therefore we can’t doubt about the potential of the India but we also can’t underestimate the current problems, therefore inspire of proper researches and findings still this question is not answerable properly.
