Robert Stewart[edit]

Robert Stewart is highlighted in the item on the battle of Neville's Cross, but oddly-for such an important individual-does not in fact appear on the accompanying list of named Stewarts. He was, of course, the grandson of King Robert Bruce, and was to become the first Stewart King of Scots, reigning as Robert II from 1371 to 1390.
