It would be helpful to have a definition and/or description of a "rootkit", for those less-savvy individuals such as myself. That is what I was seeking when I encountered this article. No disambig page. If I were qualified to remedy this situation, I wouldn't have arrived here at all. Please help, if you can. RootkitRevealer may be obsolete, due to the sunset of the 32-bit OS/processor (i'm stretching the limits of my expertise, if it can be called that — please correct me if i have misunderstood!), but the problem of rootkit malware seems to still be with us. I may try to create the article as I research, but past experience has been that, though the need is obvious, my limited abilities result in deletion before more knowlegable help arrives.
