What is the so called silly POV? They need to be changed around for two good commen sense reasons, 1) alphabetical, 2) prominence. The rugby union Canada is a "decent" competition, but even that with over 1000 average attendants, is nothing compared to the other two competitions. As for the comments, they are more than apt to help people evaluate what they are looking for instead of being confused about the union/league thing. If they are looking for the actual professional competitions, this helps supremely, just like if they are looking for the local union "league" that they play in if they are American or Canadien. In fact I will add super 14 into the disambig-THE ONLY REAL JUSTIFICATION FOR INCLUDING NON RUGBY LEAGUE ENTRIES. Cheers --Ehinger222 04:18, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your labeling RCSL as only "decent" and your use of unreliable sources to sway your argument is considered a violation of WP:NPOV. Furthermore, your comments are subjective commentary. Also, the information is not only biased, but patently false, as RCSL and RSL are both professional comps. I've compromised quite a bit on this dab page, even though there was considerable bias towards league. Please meet me halfway. I'm going to make an edit that I hope will satisfy both of us. If this is not acceptable, we will probably need external help in the form of dispute resolution to resolve this hoopydinkConas tá tú? 06:02, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Your labeling RCSL as only "decent" and your use of unreliable sources to sway your argument is considered a violation of WP:NPOV." That source is reliable in my opinion. Its other entries match up perfectly with those that I have managed to look up for that year. Please provide some rational reason for its lack of reliability. "Furthermore, your comments are subjective commentary." Please outline the subjectivity of each comment. Accusing is fine, but I believe my comments were accurate, fair and balanced, so I would like some justification for the accusation. Your reverting of the un-alphabetised list, and than subsequent devising of a method of putting rugby union at the top of the list seems POV to me, but I am more than willing to meet you half way. "Also, the information is not only biased, but patently false, as RCSL and RSL are both professional comps., please provide evidence of this! I am not saying that it is false, but, particuarly with the American one, the final is played in a 6,800 stadium. My local amateur/semi professional comp for rugby league plays at a bigger stadium and has a higher crowd, but I would never try to justify putting it into the context that the American one is being placed. "If this is not acceptable, we will probably need external help in the form of dispute resolution to resolve this", not it is not acceptable because I believe that it is an inferior version to the one I had previously. I would welcome outside help in resolving this problem. Cheers --Ehinger222 07:39, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Again, the source is unreliable (the geocities homepage thing). Please see WP:RS. Your comments of relatively minor are subjective. The competitions are major in that they are the largest rugby union competitions on the North American continent and are sanctioned by both the IRB and each nation's governing body. There are also many corporate sponsorships that have invested in these competitions. Again, I've compromised on the dab page, and feel that I've been as unbiased as possible, but I cannot in good conscience allow you to insert your league-centric POV into an encyclopedia. As such, if you are unsatisfied with my attempts at resolution, I suggest initating an informal dispute resolution process, which can be accessed at WP:MEDCAB. I'm certain that I haven't abused any sort of admin buttons, but if you feel I have, please feel free to seek a more formal process at WP:RFC. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 21:42, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this tis is no offense to either of yahs. Alphabetising. p.s. I did not know that they played rugby football in north America, I thought they played American Football so this is interesting to see these competitions and would love to see come of the matches if anyone can show them, because they are inexplicably not on cable. --Rugby 666 04:19, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
