Plait[edit]

Phil Plait has a doctorate in astronomy, and a decade of work experience as a paid astronomer with the Hubble Space Telescope. The reference I replaced was from an Indian Newspaper, the experience in astronomy of their reporter is unknown to me. The numbers given by the newspaper are quite different from those given by Dr. Plait. So I went with those numbers from the trained and professionally experienced astronomer. Seems Phil got it wrong by an order of magnitude though, according to the arXiv paper: " a periapse distance of about 100 au " as quoted from the abstract, and a 700 au apoapse posted further down in the paper. 84.100.26.135 (talk) 12:36, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

with new numbers, the comparison to planet orbits are wrong. The periapsis 100 AU is about three times bigger than Neptune's orbit (and more than 10 times compared to Saturn). Wladislaw Derevianko (talk) 05:27, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
