Photo at top the wrong SS Wairuna!
[edit]There were two SS Wairunas - one was an older smaller ship mostly operating out of New Zealand in the 1900s-10s period - the photo of the ship at the top says SS Wairuna during WWI, but it cannot be the ship in the article, as that was not called the SS Wairuna until 1919. The photo linked at the bottom of the article I think is the actual ship

this is another photo of the older ship c.1913 or 1915 in Wellington harbour https://natlib.govt.nz/records/23104949
the older ship gives a usual 'burthen' of 2529 tonnes on crew lists 1906-10 although the one 1905 list said 3529 but perhaps a mistake
