Good topic

[edit]

I think a fairly easy good topic is possible here: S Line (hockey) will the be the main article, and others will be the players, so Babe Siebert, Nels Stewart and Hooley Smith. There seem to be plenty of sources (especially through newspapers) that cover the line, while the players are all Hall-of-Famers and Siebert's already at GAN. And a bonus, I uploaded a few images and now there's quite a nice set of photos in the lead of the main article. Maxim(talk) 02:08, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm chasing DYKs and GAs for the Wikicup, so I'm certainly up for doing this. Resolute 03:39, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the article is plagiarized from a book

[edit]

Turns out 90% of this article (basically the whole thing besides the lead) is word-for-word copied from the book Hockey's Greatest Stars: Legends and Young Lions. Do we remove all of this material and start over? There's enough material from other sources to make a fairly decent article. JimKaatFan (talk) 23:41, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I have rewritten the article. Found some other sources, and also noticed that this current article gets the years wrong that the players were together. That, combined with the fact that almost all of it was plagiarized, makes me okay with replacing the entire thing. JimKaatFan (talk) 21:25, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
