Is the Same as the Posidonienschiefer Formation[edit]

I had seen the Stratigraphic Table of Germany 2016, where this formation is considered the same as Posidonienschiefer Formation, an external invasion of Shale on the Ällgau Formation profile. I let this to the admins. Also recommend to put all the names of the Posidonia: Sachrang Formation, Posidonia Shale, Posidonienschiefer Formation, Schwarzerschiefer and Ölschiefer Formation, mostly to evade confusion. Move back to Posidonia Shale[edit]

Posidonia Shale is by far the WP:COMMONNAME for this geological unit in English, there are almost no results for "Sachrang Formation" when searching on scholar, but thousands for "Posidonia Shale". Hemiauchenia (talk) 02:57, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
