Checking against GA criteria[edit]

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
Well written, complies sufficiently with key elements of the MoS
The lead should mention the subject's appearance in other works, see WP:LEAD.
"The character appears in almost all adaptations of The Lord of the Rings, having a particularly large part in the first two films of Peter Jackson's film trilogy (2001–2003) in which he was played by Christopher Lee." Is this not sufficient? This could be expanded to: "The character appears in almost all adaptations of The Lord of the Rings, including the BBC Radio's 1956 and 1981 radio adaptations of the book, as well as Ralph Bakshi's 1978 animated motion picture. He has a particularly large part in the first two films of Peter Jackson's film trilogy (2001–2003) in which he was played by Christopher Lee."
I meant his appearances in The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales. Jezhotwells (talk) 01:48, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
