PAGE SERIOUSLY OUT OF DATE[edit]

I don’t know much about the current situation but until fairly recently the company was offering the Active 20 GPS device and had been doing for some years. That device is not currently available due to lack of supply of components according to its website.

They are now offering an app - Satmap Xplorer via Apple and Android Stores and it may be that this is the route (no pun intended) they will adopt from now on.

I’m an end user of the devices having purchased the models Active 10, 12 & 20 together with mapping and accessories, almost as soon as released. They have/had a good reputation amongst hillwalkers/ramblers particularly in the UK and I’m surprised that there isn’t more up to date information in the wiki article, however, I don’t feel qualified to edit the page myself.
