To not merge, give uncontested objection (different scope) and no support, with stale discussion. Klbrain (talk) 09:10, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would rather merge it to extinction rebellion Geysirhead (talk) 11:36, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Article is now updated. References added.

Merging

[edit]

Better not to merge. Because Extinction Rebellion is about extiction, while Scientist Rebellion is focusing on degrowth – i.e. their aims differ. Kk (talk) 14:14, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Paragraph on COP 28 letter

[edit]

I just added a paragraph on an open letter related to COP 28 based on an article on the Guardian today (Gayle 2023). But the text of the letter itself appears to date from COP 27. There are several possible explanations for this inconsistency and I am trying to track down the actual situation. In the meantime, I will leave the text up as it stands, pending an answer from Scientist Rebellion Germany. If none is forthcoming within 24 hours, I will remove that material in its entirety. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 18:16, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Scientist Rebellion Germany have just informed me that the typo on their global website is being fixed. So the current text should remain in place. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 19:54, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No corrections that I could see on the Scientist Rebellion (SR) press release or open letter web pages after twenty‑four hours have elapsed. So am duly winding back my edits until more clarity is reached regarding the status of the open letter and/or whether the current Guardian article was written using new or stale material. This Wikipedia edit should not be reinstated unless and until the SR open letter is updated to reference COP 28 and not COP 27. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 20:07, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done: That confusion over different letters and versions has now been resolved. So I just added back the material on the open letter to the public for COP 28 with the updated citations. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 11:32, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
