Do these rings move with the eye? Or are they rigid to skull?
[edit]Do all fish, birds, and non-crocodilian reptiles have these? Amphibians?
[edit]Implications for behavior
[edit]The article on pterosaurs says,
- Comparisons between the scleral rings of pterosaurs and modern birds and reptiles have been used to infer daily activity patterns of pterosaurs;
