Derrylin is in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Not County Cavan. Stu ’Bout ye! 15:22, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

People need to face the fact that Fermanagh is in Northern Ireland. Djegan 21:09, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
People need to face the fact that Fermanagh is in Ireland. El Gringo 21:43, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Lets not be silly, Fermanagh is also in Europe, the World, the Solar System,...but we do not add them just to be deliberately ambiguous and imprecise. Northern Ireland is part of the island of Ireland. Ireland is ambiguous and imprecise, and just plain provocative when used for someones point-of-view. Djegan 21:51, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
The question is not about is Northern Ireland a country (as your your edit summaries suggest). Just put in United Kingdom after Northern Ireland if that is your real hang-up? Djegan 21:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Merger of Quinn Group article

The result was Oppose Merger. -- Pmelan 16:08, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Oppose - Sean Quinn is a person hence his article, while Quinn Group is a company hence its article. Quinn Group is properly categorised as a company and should remain separate as such.Ardfern 23:01, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Cull

A lot of this article relates to the Quinn Group, which has its own article. Therefore I intend to delete most of it, unless there are any objections. Stu ’Bout ye! 10:15, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Current net work as of 2011???

This article quotes net worths from 2005 and thereabouts, but then we had the credit crunch, and continuing downward spiral of the Irish economy. Are there any current estimates of his net worth out there??? I mean, he's got some big debts (in the billions). Plus, I don't believe that losing a quarter of Allied Irish Banks would set him or his company back by only "2 to 3 years". I would guess a decade or two decades - and that is assuming he is solvent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.144.66.251 (talk) 11:35, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

"Allied Irish Banks" - perhaps you just don't have the intelligence to contribute here if you think Anglo Irish Bank, which Quinn owned 25% of, is synonymous with Allied Irish Banks. 109.76.214.233 (talk) 22:31, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Developments around Quinn's (former) property in Kiev

I found this newsarticle about a shopping mall in Kyiv formerly owned by Quinn. I have not followed earlier developments in this case & (hence) I can not make heads or tail if stuff from this article should be incorporated into this Wikipedia article. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 17:55, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi - I used it together with some Irish newspaper articles to add a paragraph to the overseas business section. This could be way more detailed - especially since it is ultimately the source of Quinn's current stay in prison, but to keep it in perspective I guess we should keep it short. Thanks Drow69; I have no experience with this sort of financial shenanigans so I was not sure what to take out of the article. Your choice seems fine to me! Stuffing the articles with details is usually not good for its readability. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:33, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
