Sea of Korea Redirection Dispute

[edit]

I think that Sea of Korea should be redirected to the article on the naming dispute because people who want to find out about Sea of Korea wouldn't need to read about Sea of Japan. Plus, many readers would miss the naming dispute article hyperlink, and think that Sea of Korea and Sea of Japan are really the same thing. Yes, they are, physically, but, historically, they are not. I changed the article to trigger other people into this discussion, so that we can talk about this. But, I don't really mean to change the redirection unless others agree. Plus, I see that Masterhatch put the redirection to the naming dispute article; so, I have at least one Wikipidian who supports me. (Wikimachine 05:16, 5 November 2005 (UTC))[reply]

1.237.235.22 (talk) 10:37, 1 January 2013 (UTC) I absolutely agree with above opinion. We, Koreans think it is not even necessary to argue whether it's ours or japanese, because it was ours, it is ours and it will be ours for entire time. However, as people-who-live-near-us insist stubbornly, it has became a social issue. So i also think it doesn't have to be redirected to Sea of Japan. Sea of Korea has it's own history and meaning to us. We don't need to read information about Sea of Japan. I think all of the Korean have worth to read about their territory, not a thing redirected to Sea of Japan.[reply]
