Although it is not an official site for Super Audio CDs, the link http://www.sa-cd.net/faq#playback7 states that "Copying the CD-compatible layer of a hybrid SA-CD will be possible on an audio CD recorder if it is not protected with SCMS" referring "the CD layer of hybrid SA-CD has SCMS" as I could understand from the sentence. Is it possible that a Redbook CD or the CD layer of a hybrid SA-CD or the SA-CD layer itself - hence a CD/SA-CD player - has SCMS technology implemented? --Cafyon (talk) 13:51, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic wording[edit]

Finally, in 1992, the RIAA and the electronics companies compromised by passing the Audio Home Recording Act. In this law, ... As far as I know, neither the RIAA nor any other incorporation has the power to pass federal law in the United States, so the technical accuracy of this phrase needs to be corrected, even if the particular meaning doesn't. (It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was intended to mean that they lobbied in favor of the Audio Home Recording Act.) --Short Circuit (talk) 16:25, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for noticing that, you are correct, I just fixed it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.127.100.147 (talk) 10:04, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bluetooth[edit]

Why is this technology used in Bluetooth headsets? It seems like the headsets would have nothing to do with recording or copying media - can someone please explain this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.205.137.199 (talk) 21:38, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
