Browser origin

[edit]

Can anyone confirm the browser is derived from Opera?

I have been toying with a PHP generated page and CSS, and found out that the User-Agent string does not match at all the way it is supposed to look like according to http://www.mobileopera.com/reference/ua (specifically the PLATFORM; DEVICE;BUILD parts mentioned there are way off and there is no Opera Version or Language part altogether) --Filipvr 10:56, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Look at here: http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/9210i/

Nokia 9210's browser's engine is Opera's, but the user interface is Nokia's. Nokia 9300, 9300i and 9500 are self-evident as they have the Opera folder under C:\System\Apps\. 88.195.40.246 16:53, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Is this operating system better or worse than s60? You won't believe that im sending this from a nokia (e52). If anyone sees this and you have some knowledge, could you take 5 minutes to advise if i should or shouldn't buy the nokia 9500 communicator? Thanks! :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.169.222.70 (talk) 10:51, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
