Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... I've just recently started using Wikipedia, I'm just getting the hang of it.. Sharon Condon who I'm doing the page for is working alongside me, I'm creating the page for Sharon and I'm awaiting information from Sharon herself to update sections. She and I don't want it linked to the Wonderland band page as she's going solo. I would appreciate anyone's help if you think I need to change anything! Thank you. ---- Samantha Dougal --User:Mary Jones (talk) 21:14, 1 July 2015 (UTC) I have added more valid references- Newspaper articles etc[reply]

Wikipedia requires multiple independent sources specifically about the subject (such as professionally published books, magazines, or newspapers). It also does not look favorably upon autobiographies. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:25, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I would endorse Ian.thomson's comments. I have tidied it up a bit so that it looks more like a Wikipedia article so that the admin making the judgement about the deletion does it on content and not presentation - but at present the content does not justify retention.  Velella  Velella Talk   22:02, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

@Samanthadougal:. In 2011 a page was created for Sharon Condon and probably because she wasn't notable enough it was redirected to her band article. So you should really be editing that page instead of creating this page to bypass the redirect. As it stands, she is not yet notable enough - read the part above about reliable sources. Hence my redirect Gbawden (talk) 17:18, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
