I shall be reviewing this article against the Good Article criteria, following its nomination for Good Article status.

    She is part of the adventure subgenre of literature which was especially popular around the turn of the 19th century, but which remains an important form of fiction to the present day. This should be turn of the 20th century as the work was published in 1886. I reworded this.
    I made a number of minor fixes.[1]
