I can see that a lot of work has been put into this article, but I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able to list it as a GA.
1(a) the prose is clear and the spelling and grammar are correct
Take for example the sentence "Though she acted alongside the highest paid actress of South India Arthi Agarwal but Saran turn to be the main heroine in the movie." Several sentences in this article lack coherence. Needs a major copyedit. Does not satisfy condition 1(a).
Also: Shriya's performance was praised by critic especially her on screen chemistry with Jesse Metcalfe
1(b) it complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, jargon, words to avoid, fiction, and list incorporation. No particular errors on this front. Article satisfies condition 1(b).
(2). It is factually accurate and verifiable
2(a). it provides references to all sources of information, and at minimum contains a section dedicated to the attribution of those sources in accordance with the guide to layout,
2(b). at minimum, it provides in-line citations from reliable sources for direct quotations, statistics, published opinion, counter-intuitive or controversial statements that are challenged or likely to be challenged, and contentious material relating to living persons. You may want to cut down on the number of references. Several sentences have three or four references.
2(c). it contains no original research.
(3). It is broad in its coverage
3(a). it addresses the main aspects of the topic
3(b). it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail
No. Article is full of unnecessary fluff like this:
- The way Saran took the questions from the students after the session and answered it humourly were appreciated.
- Her costumes was designed by Neeta Lulla which was being the flipping point of her appearance
- Sify concluded that though there was many big star attending the event but the actual people who was the centre of attraction throughout of the event was Saran.
(4). It is neutral, it represents viewpoints fairly and without bias. No. If if weren't for the controversies section, this could almost be her fanpage. "Saran also becomes mentor for the other South Indian actresses in order to maintain their body figure"
(5). It is stable, it does not change significantly from day-to-day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
Article is subject to frequent rollbacks and (alleged) sockpuppetry.
6. It is illustrated, if possible, by images
6(a). Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content.
Lead Image is tagged with copyright problem templates.
6(b). Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
This article requires a thorough copyedit. It is quite far from being a GA. If you disagree with my decision not to list this article, then please feel free to request further opinions at WP:GAR. Reviewer: Amog | Talk • contribs 07:02, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
