Untitled[edit]

Is a "Sinfonietta" a different form from a symphony? I know that Lennox Berkeley wrote a piece titled Sinfonietta, and Bernard Herrmann wrote a Sinfonietta for String Orchestra. Should this article be about a specific piece by Janáček, or a form that has been used by multiple composers? — Gwalla | Talk 05:15, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Based on an entry in my old music encyclopedia, it should be the latter, which is what I'm about to turn it into. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 21:25, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
