Vandalism

To be expected, I guess, this being an entry for a school. I've reverted a few edits and corrected some spelling. Had a great time at Tommys 1987-1994, now living in the US but I still try to keep up with what's going on there.

1.2 billion .... you mean 1,200,000,000 pounds Victuallers 22:29, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. The page has been revandilised since. Any chance of someone putting a restriction only allowing regestered users to edit it? It would stop this happening in the future? Mdann52 (talk) 17:36, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
I have just requested a semi-protection to be put in place 17:50, 1 February 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdann52 (talkcontribs)

Rugby Club

Isn't there a rugby club connected to the School on the Longlevens site? Hate the stuff myself, but it's probably worth a mention if anyone knows ought about it.

yes, but it is inderpendent from the school Mdann52 (talk) 17:15, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

The Will - £6,000?

Surely shome mishtake.

I remember singing that wonderful line:

"...sixteen-thousand pounds of what God gave, he did give back again..."

--Dan 12:40, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually, it was £6,000. The song changed it to £16,000... ask Mr Pilbeam at the school for all the details!

--PaulGorman 13:52, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm sceptical: "six thousand pounds" would fit the tune better, as M W Rangeley would no doubt agree. Doesn't it seem a rather odd thing to do, to introduce a historical inaccuracy just for the sake of making the song harder to sing?

The page says 16,000 now, by the way. (No, I didn't change it.)

......RJGH (STRS 1974-1981)

The school website says 16,000 and that is the most authoritative source we're likely to find. Can anyone explain why, seeing as this cotnradicts the amount in the will? Euryalus (talk) 22:35, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

The above link is outdated. The STRS history section now says £6000 and his house.Mdann52 (talk) 17:56, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

March 2007 V2

Hello all, and thank you for contributing to this school site. I'm part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Assessment team, and, as it has recently been editted, then I'm reviewing this page. I'm currently giving it a grade of start on the Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment Scale and an importance of Mid on this importance scale.

My reasoning is as follows: This article is more than a stub, but it lacks references and wikipedia style. I had initially set this as stub/low......but I had to reconsider and give it start/mid.... needs more people involved. nid because of the age .... you must have more famous alumni after 450 years Victuallers 21:17, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
