Sleep temples in the Middle East and Africa today

[edit]

"Today in some parts of the Middle East and Africa you can still encounter shrine sleep. Sleep Temples were and are used for the mentally ill,..." - The author of the source article [1] does not provide any reference for this, and this statement doesn't seem to be specific enough to be a verifiable information. I think this would better be excluded from the entry, unless we could find more specific reference. Let me know what others think. --BorgQueen 23:13, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it, 1/2 due to your concern, and 1/2 due to the fact that any number of new age or alternative medicine facilities thruout the world could be called "sleep temples". My guess is that mr. Reeves uses the term loosely. Sam Spade 23:47, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
