Hello Wikipedians! My plan for editing this page includes expanding the lead and adding sections for scope, testing/screening, and interventions. The timeline for this will be first edits over the next week, all sections in their initial state in the next two weeks, and final edits by Dec 21. Thanks in advance for any feedback/collaboration. Overall impression: Very succinct lead. Really great job both explaining the vast reach of social em and differentiating it from related fields in the scope section. The examples you provided in the screenings section are great. I got the impression that this would be a great read for the type of people who might currently hear the phrase "social EM" and immediately google it (so mostly trainees in the health profession) and for that purpose I think it succeeds in satiating curiosity.

Suggested changes/ things to address: -uncapitalized emergency department in the scope section -add links to the scope section -use a more accessible synonym to burgeoning in the history section -remove = in the listed programs part of training section -clarify what SBIRT is -Overall organization is great but perhaps the screening section could come just after scope? I feel there is a natural desire for those who would seek this page to want an example of what it is before hearing about its history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikopants (talkcontribs) 02:28, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
