- This item is suitably notable - a Google search shows more than 2 million results. Ray Mears demonstrated it on one of his walkabout programs. Its inclusion in Survival kit was an edit in good faith and certainly cannot be regarded as spam. Androstachys (talk) 07:51, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Androstachys. Accepted that good faith edits. I just couldn't find suitable reliable sources. However, I stumbled upon a blog article where someone remembered it being marketed in the 50's as a Solar Cigarette Lighter, which does have reliable sources which might be useful to develop the concept - may even be a free image of that device which could be used to illustrate. Also useful wikilink to Concentrated solar power might be useful. Unfortunately too busy over the next couple of weeks to assist, but I'll drop by, once I have time, to see if I can usefully assist develop the article if I can.
