London Road site

[edit]

When the college moved out of the old technical college site to Carnarvon Road, the engineering arm opened at London Road in a new building which stretched back to Queens Road. The building was abandoned when SEC moved to Luker Road, and was demolished to make way for the University of Essex Student Accommodation, originally known locally as the Lego Building due to its cladding. I have so far been unable to find any reference online when this building opened or officially closed. Davidstewartharvey (talk) 13:04, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
