Construction date
[edit]I've remained deliberately non-committal about the construction date of this vessel. Although the redlinks and List of Spanish sail frigates suggest that this Hermione was built in 1735, when I've looked for sources, reliable or otherwise, to support the inference, all I've found is a Spanish Hermione that was wrecked in 1741 - not helpful for a vessel captured in 1762!

so, any help resolving this would be appreciated. --KenBailey (talk) 21:56, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- I've now added a pair of contradictory Spanish references which cite various Spanish sources, and both cite
