This article is a mess; it appears to be missing a bunch of text, with sections picking up in midstream. For example, the plot summary opens with "Most of the children are orphans. One mother sends her child a doll, but Grimes crushes its head and tosses it into the swamp." What children? Where are they? Who is this Grimes? The reader is given no explanation. Later, the Production section starts with "However, Hal Mohr, the film's director of photography, debunked this story...." What story? Not a word in the article, although the rest of the sentence seems to indicate it had something to do with alligators. I have no idea how to fix the article, having come here simply to learn about the film, but I hope someone who knows more can take it in hand. Drhoehl (talk) 23:17, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Drhoehl: That was all due to sloppy deletions arising from copyright violations. Some of the deletions were justified (e.g. verbatim text from IMDb trivia), but a lot wasn't. I have dealt with it. Clarityfiend (talk) 01:15, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
