Move Page
[edit]I think I am going to move this page to Followspot Operator as it is a followspot that is operated. Any complaints? KeepOnTruckin 19:40, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- No objection as such. It was my understanding that "Spot Op" was a more US bit of terminology. They're pretty interchangable, I think - so does it matter? Bryson430 20:09, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
picture
[edit]I think it would more beneficial if we had a picture of a more traditional followspot than a Lycian SuperArc such as an Altman Comet...I may be wrong as to the name, but they are much more common and well-known. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.245.174.239 (talk) 00:29, 15 May 2007 (UTC).
Followspot controls - irrelevant?
[edit]I think we oughta cut the followspot controls section from this article. They really belong more in the article on the followspot itself, rather than the article on its operator. Murrows (talk) 19:51, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
edits
[edit]What happened to this article? Compare the information on say https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spotlight_operator&oldid=153970981 to the current version which is about now a stub. While the older information would need to have citations. The information isn't that controversial for being common fact for experienced operators. This condensing edits seem to common and rereading older articles the present copies often fail in comparison to the older version that didn't be the great standards so many deletions love to use as their justifications.... 02:42, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Peer Review
[edit]I see that there have been updates to this page. I see in the sandbox the user added 2 more sections, a reference page, and added more information to the ‘Spotlight Controls’ section. Overall, I like the direction where this page is heading. Rustyturbo (talk) 03:48, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
