The result of this discussion was to not merge per discussion on Talk:Streetcars in St. Louis, Missouri. poroubalous (talk) 21:38, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that St. Charles City Streetcar be merged into Streetcars in St. Louis, Missouri. I think that because the St. Charles streetcars aren't operational and aren't really in any stage being close to being operational, the discussion of them might be better served on the main streetcars page. St Charles County and Mass Transit[edit]

Its funny that St Charles County does not want any mass transit systems coming across the Mo. River, but they will propose a streetcar system serving really no one. Most of the people I work with live in St Charles County, but work in St. Louis, so they would rather clog up the highways and complain about traffic, then be connected to the rest of the region. This region will never move forward like other big cities, because the region is so disconnected, due to prevailing attitudes about mass transit. Few in Metro St. Louis get that your city is only as good as your mass transit system. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Miketlow (talkcontribs) 19:09, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
