Question

I got here by following a link about cotton, but it redirects to wool. Does it mean the same thing for both fibers? --Dan Wylie-Sears 2 (talk) 22:47, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Yes. And the article has been re-written. pschemp | talk 09:40, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Another Question

In the last paragraph of "staple length" section of the article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staple_(textiles)#Staple_length), it says "70's." This seems ambiguous. Which century is this referring to? For example, is it referring to the 1670s (17th Century), the 1770s (18th Century), the 1870s (19th Century), or the 1970s (20th Century)? I doubt it's the 1670s or 1770s, and I think it would be either the 1870s or 1970s, but I don't want to assume anything. Also, I only see one reference/citation for the whole article.
