How come this article has been split from Top Gear? It wasn't exactly as if the article was really long. 9cds 12:22, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Eventually there will be a full list of all of the lap times for each star. Each episode has an individual star, so that is well over 60 stars to list. PS2pcGAMER 12:25, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
But Wikipedia is not a list of indiscriminate data. 9cds 12:37, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the slow reply. First, Top Gear has a huge following of over 350 million viewers worldwide [1]. Having an article about a segement of a show with such a huge following, even if it is mostly just a list, seems reasonable to me. Wikipedia has quite a few articles that have been forked that just list broadcast dates, DVD releases or even just a list of episode names, all of which seem accepted by the wikipedia community. Even this article in its infancy has equally as much info. This article doesn't explicitly violate any single of the items listed here: Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information PS2pcGAMER 21:50, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I've condensed the article some and merged it into the main article per your request. PS2pcGAMER 09:48, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
