Name?

[edit]

Since it's been known for some time (longer than this page has been around) that "Stellar" is just a bad romanization and that "Stella" is her actual name, shouldn't the English Wikipedia be changed to reflect that? Calaschysm 14:39, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, beat me to it by a few hours. I agree, the article would be best moved to 'Stellar Loussier' in line with official spelling for English language countries. It's a one letter difference, people.--HellCat86 16:45, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

I just wanted to note two things. Firstly, it is stated that Stellar is "the third adult/teen character Houko Kuwashima voices in the Cosmic Era". It should be noted that Kuwashima also voices Via Hibiki in the first series, even though this character might not only have a few spoken lines.

Secondly, it is emphasised in the article that Stellar's trigger word is anything that relates to her own death. I don't remember the distinction ever being made in the series between her own death and death in general. I also seem to recall a comic in one of the Destiny artbooks where Stellar (trying to solve a crossword puzzle) freaks out when she comes to a word related to death (in no way associated with her own). I don't see any reason to emphasise that the reference should be to her own death.

I'm relatively new to Wikipedia, however, so someone with more experience editing here please decide how to handle this. ^_^ ChibiKareshi 13:24, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair to this, however, she often seems to be able to hear and use the word kill, and certainly, Neo's words to her and the way she reacts to them when she is assigned the Destroy suggest that it's the concept of her own demise (or of people she cares about, one would assume) that drives her insane. Quite possibly, this may just be sloppy writer work, since what starts off as block "words" seems by the end to turn into block "concepts" triggered by the words. The question I've always wondered, and the terminology used doesn't really make it clear, is whether the triggers for the extended pilots are actual implanted behavioural control triggers, or psychological side-effects of what was done to them that just happened to have their uses later on. Does anyone know what that pink crystalline thing that she owns is? It's the thing in the bottle that Shinn gave to her shortly after handing her back to Neo. It looks sort of like a petal, or a piece of glass. Anon 12:50, 22 April 2007 (GMT)
