Nudie picture as example?
I'm removing the nude pinup photo as an example. This is a page on a device that has nothing inherently to do with nude photography, and shouldn't use such. (I personally don't object, but I'm lucky I looked at the page before my 12 year old stepson did. If he tried to load this page at the school library, I'm sure he'd get in trouble.) Dead link
The link 'Calculating stereo pairs' is not working. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by VinnieCool (talk • contribs) 19:23, 30 March 2007 (UTC).
Merger with Stereoscopy?
Would it make sense to merge the Wikipedia articles of "Stereoscope" and Stereoscopy? Seems there's a lot of overlap... Xenophon777 12:51, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
not stereoscopes?
The final paragraph in the intro: "Devices such as polarized, anaglyph and shutter glasses which are used to view two actually superimposed or intermingled images, rather than two physically separate images, are not categorized as stereoscopes." Seems unecessary since it defines something other than the topic and I question its correctness as those methods ARE considered stereoscopy. Is it possible for something to be stereoscopy but not a stereoscope? 76.88.3.72 (talk) 13:13, 26 March 2015 (UTC) Sandy
Google Cardboard
Google has recently produced a stereographic device which displays stereographs produced on Android phones. Should this be included as a contemporary example? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:0:E81:4675:0:0:0:1009 (talk) 13:29, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Mexican Stereocope
I've been a stereographer for over 30 years and never came across this term for a Holmes viewer before. And the reference/citation link doesn't work. Flight Risk (talk) 22:29, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
I found a mirror of that source: http://www.luminous-lint.com/libraryvault/GEH_Image/GEH_1952_01_03.pdf but can not find the term Mexican Stereoscope in it. I removed it from the article. --Tochni (talk) 10:30, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
