Training with Bruce Lee

Q1:I heard somewhere that Bruce Lee trained Steve McQueen in Jeet Kune Do, why isn't this included?

A1: This is a longstanding urban legend that was popularized somewhat by Bruce Lee himself. However, according to McQueen's biography, Steve McQueen: Portrait of an American Rebel, in which McQueen's ex-wives, children, friends and associates were extensively interviewed, this is incorrect. McQueen and Lee were friends and rivals and sparred on one occasion after McQueen had begun training with Pat E. Johnson. McQueen never trained in Jeet Kune Do or in any other method with Bruce Lee.
