something is wrong ..

here:

the first, and the second stock exchange are Euro-American? not, this are from U.S., because you have to keep in mind that the Major stock exchange in the world's is NYSE, no EURONEXT so should not be put in the list; NYSE Euronext. Also in the second, is not Euro-American, because the second stock exchange in the world is NASDAQ, and is 100% american. if I'm wrong, sorry, thanks 190.198.26.57 (talk) 18:51, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

stock exchange vs clearing houses

I think it would be illuminating if someone could write a section contrasting stock exchanges with clearing houses. It seems to me that one major difference is that stock exchanges create new stock (i.e. participate in the issuance of stock when a company goes public). They also act as a clearing house for the trading of stock? Clearing houses never create anything but only act as intermediaries to transactions? 66.129.224.36 (talk) 20:58, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
