Litoria jungguy

[edit]

Apart from geographical distribution and genetic testing, can't L. wilcoxi and L. jungguy be separated by the inner thigh colouration: yellow in L. wilcoxi, white in L. jungguy. Froggydarb 06:07, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, it was never mentioned in the only paper which talks about it. I assume further research will be done in this area, but at the moment there is no morphological difference described. --liquidGhoul 08:28, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No point changing it on the article because no morphological difference are described yet, but you can see from: 1 (the first pic) and your pic that the thighs are yellow and this describes L.jungguy as having white thighs :) Froggydarb 09:06, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have only ever come across yellow thighs, but I am sure there are white/cream thighs in L. wilcoxi as well. I think the site has got it a bit wrong. I will ask on the forum. --liquidGhoul 09:25, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
