The first problem I would like to address on this page is the intro.; it's just like the Federal Reserve System's page introduction (because I copied and pasted it from there). Some one please change it.--Dark Charles (talk) 21:54, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Member Banks
The page says: "A list of all member banks can be found at the website of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)." I could not find a list of the member banks on this page. It would also be of general interest to know who owns those member banks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.217.7.223 (talk) 02:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I've had that problem too. It's probably somewhere on the website, but it's certainly not clear. Anyway, member banks are simply banks that use the Federal Reserve System. All national banks are members, and some local banks are. I don't remember the rules exactly.--Dark Charles 05:08, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
