Unsigned Comment[edit]

Removed the phrase

"delivered an important free speech victory for students when they"

and

"The Court's ruling in Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System v. Southworth (Case #98-1189) reinforces the historic role of college campuses as a marketplace of ideas."

as it smacks of POV. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skapur (talkcontribs) 2006-08-01T22:51:16 (UTC)

Essay or Article?[edit]

This article doesn't define what a Student Activity Fee is as much as it seems to be an essay on the Southworth decision. It looks like it needs a lot of work to make this an encyclopedia article. --健次(derumi)talk 01:54, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Is this article well named since it seems to consist of court cases (hence law) about Student Activity Fees? RJFJR (talk) 16:40, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if there was an article covering "student activity fee" comprehensively, the court cases would certainly be a subheading. There's just not a lot else that's been added. Cool Hand Luke 18:16, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On second thought, the most of non-POV content here should be moved to Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System v. Southworth, the POV content should be deleted, and this article will be a stub. Cool Hand Luke 18:20, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
