[edit]Basically I think the line linking to the main article of this page does justice. This page will be expanded when the release comes out and there is enough differences to warrant a new page because it is a seperate page and it is consistant with "mods articles" of other games. - BlueArcher 17:22, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- All of the differences between this and the original version are minor. They could be summed up in a single paragraph in the main article. - A Link to the Past (talk) 19:25, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- The game hasn't been released yet. There are lots of things that can be added except there are no authoritative sources for them at the moment(well, there are a few but i don't think adding a one-line vague comment to the liking of "there will be many missions available" (or something else as short and trivial) would be helpful on an article). currently, as the article stands, i think it is substantial for a stub. An excerpt can be put on the non-HD article but this article should not be destroyed because the release is very close and the article will be expanded once it comes. I think it would be similar to those articles with other games with a series article and a seperate game article for the mods and sequals.
Also, I think you should have waited for consent before removing an article since that is destructive, especially the 2nd time. I also think there should be aheading for HD remix on the regular SPF article. It's also Easier to Compare changes and switch between talk: and the article because the redirect gets in the way. BlueArcher 23:48, 22 July 2007 (UTC)- If an article cannot be referenced, it could easily be deleted through the AfD instead of redirected. You may recreate if you find an assertion of notability, a need for them to be separate, and sources. - A Link to the Past (talk) 00:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I everything in the article can be referenced, and it is substantial for a stub. After the release there will be even more hence the suitability for a seperate article (as it will be expanded upon). Similar to that of counterstrike and Counterstrike source.BlueArcher 01:51, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'll Stub the article and expand it a bit. Then post it on AfD for discussion whether to merge/redirect or not.BlueArcher 03:13, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't need to go to the AfD. The content is mostly redundant to the main article - the mechanics are more or less the same. - A Link to the Past (talk) 05:41, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

-- I moved the timestamps to the beginning of the messages so we get those easier to read indents hope you don't mind...
- You should put them at the end. - A Link to the Past (talk) 00:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Due to the dispute on whether this article should be merged or not, I've undone the redirect for now and added a MergeTo template, with a corresponding MergeFrom template in the target article. The discussion link in the templates points to Talk:Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, so please take up this discussion there. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 22:34, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Release date????
[edit]Wasnt this game suppposed to be released on july 25? Whats the new release date?Typical. I love Japanese games but hate the way Japanese companies incessantly put back release dates.
