Doomsday

[edit]

Notwithstanding that Bizarro's monstrous form is clearly based on Doomsday, it's been called by that very name by reliable sources [1] [2].

But above all the actor of the monster himself, Paul Lazenby, he is called Doomsday (https://twitter.com/MaulerMMA?t=hsQ5i3-0pgzOiGm2buF6xw).

This is clearly not a case of a mere "easter egg" as some users like DonQuixote have been claiming, the name is even officially used. I suggest adding a note that Bizzaro's monstrous form is based on Doomsday, rather than simply linking him or not mentioning him at all. Linkin Prankster (talk) 13:32, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:EASTEREGG clearly states Also remember there are people who print the articles...In a print version, there is no link to select, and the reference is lost.--that's the easiest test for whether something is an easter egg link. DonQuixote (talk) 13:46, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A note can be printed. We use notes on other articles too. Linkin Prankster (talk) 14:02, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As long as you avoid easter egg links and properly cite your sources. DonQuixote (talk) 14:12, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
